The Bible

We believe the Bible is given by the inspiration of God. We believe it is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives.

The True God

The Scripture teaches that there is only one true and living God. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy.

Jesus Christ

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of God and is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life. We believe He is coming back again as He promised.

The Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit empowers us to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us to live and that through the Holy Spirit we have access to spiritual gifts for the purpose of building and edifying the local church.

We believe that sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives.
We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and the ‘new birth’ we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives.

We believe that sanctification is an act of God. We believe that every sanctified believer should endeavor to grow in God’s grace and that he or she should consciously nurture and give careful attention to the process of spiritual development in Christ-likeness of character and personality.

Spirit Baptism

We believe that Holy Spirit baptism may be obtained by a definite act of faith of the fully cleansed believer. It has been God’s plan from the beginning that all believers be empowered by the Holy Spirit.

We believe that spiritual and physical healing are provided for at the cross. We believe that physical healing is God’s promise and privilege to those who will receive it.

Heaven and Hell

We believe that Heaven and Hell are real eternal places and that our eternal destination is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Local Church

We believe in the power and significance of the Church and the necessity of believers to meet regularly together for worship, fellowship and prayer. We believe that God has individually equipped us so that we can successfully achieve His purpose for our lives, fulfill our role in the Church and serve the community in which we live. We believe that God wants to live healthy, blessed and committed lives in order to help others more effectively.

We believe that prayer is the one fundamental element of our Christian faith that we must never forget. We believe that prayer is the key that unlocks the power of God and brings victory in our lives.

A Special Note on Prayer

As believers, we stand ready to lift one another up in prayer. We believe in intercessory prayer. We have special prayer times plus anointing and prayers times during our regular worship service. If you have special needs in your life, our Pastor and others in our congregation are always available to pray with you.
We are affiliated with the Pentecostal Free Will Baptist denomination.

On July 4, 1937 the Bethel Holiness Church was organized as the results of a tent revival in the town of Beulaville. The first building was erected on Church Street with the help of volunteers. It was chartered by the New River Conference with only thirteen members.
On July 17, 1938 the Bethel Holiness Church met to organize a Sunday School with thirty-two beginning members.
In December 1948 the Bethel Holiness Church was renamed the Beulaville Holiness Church.
In 1949 the actual building was moved to a new location on the corner of Lee and Cavenaugh Streets.
In 1959 the Beulaville Holiness Church became the Beulaville Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church due to a merger with several other fellowships.
The building at the corner of Lee and Cavenaugh Streets received a complete renovation in 1989. In the late 90’s Beualville PFWB purchased adjacent property for the purpose of building and expanding God’s Kingdom. We also converted the old parsonage into a Youth Center. Throughout the 90’s and into the 21st century God has continually blessed this Church with new converts, members and more powerful ministries.
In 2007 we purchased the property where we are presently located! We moved to this location on July 6, 2008. Since we moved to this property we have been actively renovating and developing this property for more effective Ministry.
In 2014 the Beulaville Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church changed it’s name to Pathway Church! Pathway is a growing and expanding church with a rich heritage of God’s blessings.
