Our Story

How it all started...

July 4, 1937 - Bethel Holiness Church was organized as the results of a tent revival in the town of Beulaville. The first building was built on Church Street with the help of volunteers. It was chartered by the New River Conference with only thirteen members.
July 17, 1938 - The Bethel Holiness Church met to organize a Sunday School with thirty-two beginning members.
December 1948 - the Bethel Holiness Church was renamed the Beulaville Holiness Church.
1949 - the actual building was moved to a new location on the corner of Lee and Cavenaugh Streets.
1959 - the Beulaville Holiness Church became Beulaville Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church due to a merger with several other fellowships.
1989- The church at the corner of Lee and Cavenaugh Streets received a complete renovation. In the late 90’s Beulaville PFWB purchased adjacent property for the purpose of building and expanding God’s Kingdom. We also converted the old parsonage into a Youth Center. Throughout the 90’s and into the 21st century God has continually blessed this Church with new converts, members and more powerful ministries.
2007 - Purchased the property we are currently on, moved to this location July 6, 2008.  Renovations and upgrades are happening consistently.
2014 - Beulaville Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church changed to Pathway Church.  Pathway is a growing and expanding church with a rich heritage of God’s blessings.
2018 - Purchased land beside the current church for future expansion of ministry.
2020 - God blessed us as we were able to pay off all debt for the land and the building.

Expanding the vision...

We are always looking for God's direction for Pathway and are excited about what He is doing to grow His Kingdom here in Beulaville, NC & surrounding areas.
